| [from Scope and Content] Declaration by Thomas Morris of Medina Villas, Hove, Brighton, gent that he is the first born son of Thomas Morris and Mary Tann married on 7 Feb 1792 in St Nicholas, Warwick; that his mother died when he was very young; when he was a schoolboy he frequently visited his mother's father Thomas Tann in Smith Street, Warwick; that he was aged 59 on 4 Feb 1866; that his father was a ribbon manufacturer in Coventry, a J.P. and twice mayor and retired from business in 1830; his father built a villa at Stoke Green where he resided nearly 30 years until he died on 24 Mar 1852; that his father married again to a Mary Stanley by whom he had several children none of whom are now living; that he has 2 sisters Ann Ladbury, widow, and Mary Burbery, 19 Feb 1866.
| [from Scope and Content] Declaration by Ann Ladbury of 3 Surrey Villas, Woodland Road, Upper Norwood, Middlesex, widow, that she is the duaghter of Thomas Morris and Mary Tann; that the only issue of the marriage now living is her brother, Thomas Morris, and his daughter Mary, her sister Mary Burbery, widow, of 51 London Road, Brighton, and her self and her daughter Ann Sarah Bray, widow, and her daughter Madeline Bray; that she was aged 71 on 4 Jun 1865; that her brother was aged 59 on 4 Apr 1866; and her sister 55 on 28 Feb 1865; that her father died at Stoke Green on 24 Mar 1852, 19 Feb 1866.
