Text: George and Elsie lived on a block of land in the hills behind Taradale, Napier NZ. They had 7 sons and only 1 daughter. Only 3 of the sons married.
One of the sons, Les ran an old historic museum at a place called Puketitiri, further inland. If you Google "Lemmon museum Puketitiri NZ" you will find information on it.
They had a small farm block at Poraiti (in hills behind Taradale) and grew glasshouse tomatoes and veges for the local market. They were into cars. Les had the family Rolls Royce Silver Ghost (about 1920’s) in his museum.
Their address was 247 Poraiti Rd, Poraiti. The area has been developed considerably (broken into smaller blocks) since they first moved there.
